Hi all my slaying gals!

Hope you are enjoying the New Year so far? Think most of us are back to reality hopefully with a summer glow. For rest of us, including me, who as a lovely tan from our swimming pool in our back yards, I feel your pain. I was at home for the week between Christmas and New Year, and lucky me I was back to work on the 2nd of January (not a happy chapie).

But never the less I thankfully have a well deserved week of leave coming up. Litteraly lounging and being very unproductive and lazy, as there is not much to do at the Kruger National Park. I really appriciate this week comping up because it's quite and just the peaceful and tranquil in the heart of nature. No cars, hustle and bustle and a lot of people. Just family time.

So as we all started the new year the internet has been flooded with New Years Resolutions, don't get me wrong, there is nothing bad about dotting your own down. It's just for me, I don't stick to them. So this year I decided to reflecting on my bad habits in 2017 and decided to work on these bad habits and create new ones, rather then goals.

Some of us really stick to these goals, and for that I give you a high five. I suck at keeping and following through with New Year goals. I've managed to start learning a new habit at the end of 2017. This made me realize that I beat myself up to much if I don't reach a goal.

It has been a very tough year for me and trying to juggle the everyday life. My new way of looking at habits rather then "goals" has sat me so at ease and not beating myself up. Not only have I made physical choices but mentally to. I realized that I have to make changes not only health wise but, to be the best wife and mommy to my family.

These are my own bad habits and this was actually hard and scary for me to write down. I'm proud to say that I've managed to apply some of these new habits already but, It's still not easy. So important that you do have a good support system surrounding you.

Be proud of your progress and don't be to hard on yourself. I also need to start practicing more what I preach. I really hope you guys have an amazing 2018 and give it your all.

Keep on slaying and till next times babes!

Chantelle
