My Top 5 Beauty YouTubers

Hi my slaying gals!

Hope you all had a lovely public holiday yesterday? It is freezing here in Johannesburg today, little cold front coming to say hi in the summer. Anyhoo, today is another big day for me as I'm starting at a new company. Your'e girl has been chilling at home for 3 weeks now but, it's time to get back to real life now.

I always get questions on how I do my makeup, how do I get my foundation so flawless, and I'm like, "honey YouTube is my teacher. I've learned most of my makeup tips, tricks and hacks through watching these talented makeup gurus/artists. I started watching YouTube intensely about 4 years ago and I've fallen in love with some of these channels

I'm very picky when watching a makeup guru's channel. I enjoy watching people who are real and unique. Someone that sounds like they are reading a script when talking to you is just annoying. I like the ladies and gents who are brutally honest and not just liking every product to get more sponsorship. They have to be fun, informative and real.

I take my hat of to the YouTube community, because sharing your life so publicly is very hard. Kudos for all my favorite beauty guru's, you guys are amazing.

So in today's post I'm sharing my top five makeup guru YouTube channels and, I hope that I can give you some tips on where to watch for the best tutorials.

Lauren Curtis

She is a beautiful blond babe from Australia. She was the first channel that I started watching intensely for makeup ideas. She introduced me to The Brow shaping, I know it's sad. She is so calm and collective but not in a boring way. She's so friendly and authentic, she really is just herself when you are watching. She is extremely talented, I'm not sure, but she started of as a makeup artist at Bobbi Brown and now a successful YouTuber. I really hope that she will be collaborating with one of the brands soon. Go girl, you are amazing.

Jaclyn Hill

I adore this crazy beauty guru from Florida. She is so so talented and has such a fun and vibrant feel to her channel. She has a lot of personality and just makes my day when I watch her videos. I can relate to Jaclyn in a personal way, she also suffers from anxiety and depression and she is so strong. She has achieved great success with collaboration that she did with Morphe for her Jaclyn Hill eye shadow palette as well as her Highlighter, Champaign ampaign pop with Becca Cosmetics. She is just a slaying girl with attitude, the best thing she always say is "the bigger the hoop, the bigger the ho..." Love, Love her. Check out her channel guys, she is so talented and on point.

Carli Bybel

Carli is probably the sweetest guru I watch. You can feel that she is such a kind soul and cares so much for others when you are watching her. I love that she gives back after all the success she has had. Not only is she a professional makeup artist but, also a fashion desire, she launched her clothing line last year called, Miss Guided and its gorgeous. She also had a very successful collaboration with BH Cosmetics for her eye shadow palette "The Carli Bybel Palette".She is such a genuine person and she gives me hair envy. So beautiful.

Laura Lee

Ah, the southern bell from Alabama. Laura's channel is my current favorite channel that I binge watch. She is very fresh and vibrant, and just captures you with her southern accent. I love watching her try new makeup, and giving her honest review on the products. The best video's is when she is trying out weird makeup from Ebay or Amazon. She is so care free and friendly and, she also launched her eye shadow palette collaboration with Morphe, called "Cats Pajamas". You guys will love her. promise!

Manny MUA

Oh honey... we all need a that very dramatic gay queen in our lives. Manny's channel is not for the faint hearten, so if you don't like a very honest and over the top person, then this channel is not for you. Manny's reaction are my favorite and honest AF. He doesn't care what people say or think. He just do Manny, do you boo. He loves playing with more dramatic looks and is so creative. He also did a collaboration with Makeup Geek for his eye shadow palette, that was a huge success and I'm so excited to see whats next from Manny.
